Biography
Shawn started in the world of purebred dogs as a junior handler showing his mom’s English Setters back in 1980. As a teenager, he worked for some of Canada’s most notable dog professionals at the time including Mark and Tad Dakin as well as Sonny and Bobbie Tougas. He was the Manitoba Provincial Junior Handling Championship winner three consecutive years. Along with his daughter and wife, Shawn has bred and shown many English Setters to BIS, specialty wins, and top rankings in both Canada and USA.
