Biography
I came to showing dogs from showing horses - like so many in the fancy. I have had purebred dogs since I was born ( Standard poodles, Doberman & Dachshunds ) but thanks to supportive parents , as a teenager I acquired my first show dogs - Vizslas . My last Vizsla departed this world at (his ) age 17 . My husband Drew and I became involved with and enjoyed success in breeding and showing Rottweilers ( Ravenscrest Reg'd) in both Canada and the US , with National Specialty wins and Top 3 rankings in both countries in conformation and performance . We also enjoyed showing our French Bulldogs to considerable success. I was mentored in dogs by wonderful people including Mike & Rose Shoreman to whom I am forever grateful . I am now an AKC judge working to finish the working group -with several regular and provisional breeds largely in that group as well as French Bulldogs & Pumik. I have had the honour of judging a number of Specialties including the American Rottweiler Club National Specialty . I am a member of DJAA and ADJA as well last the Mt Rainier Working Dog Club . I look forward to furthering my education and experience .
