Biography
I have owned, bred, trained and shown Shetland Sheepdogs for over 50 years. Our dogs have been very successful in all rings on both sides of the border. I am an All Breed judge who is focused on continually learning about all purebred dogs. I have judged Group Specialty Shows for Herding and Toys, as well as Specialty Shows for Collies, Belgian Shepherd Dogs, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Pembroke Welsh Corgis, Australian Shepherds (ASCA), Finnish Lapphunds (National), Gordon Setters and Great Pyrenees. I have been very fortunate to have judged many Sheltie Specialties all over the United States and Canada, including having judged both of the Canadian and American Shetland Sheepdog National Specialties, the first and only Canadian to have been so honoured. I have judged in Canada, the U.S. and Japan.
